Meet Dr. Samuel E. Silva, PhD
Dr. Samuel E. Silva has dedicated his life to one mission: understanding how natural compounds can support the human immune system. With a deep passion for science that started early and never let go, he built a career at the intersection of research and real-world health — driven by the belief that the most powerful solutions are the ones nature already provides.
Dr. Sam earned his PhD in Pharmacognosy from Philadelphia, PA, and has spent over two decades studying how beta-glucans interact with our immune defenses at a molecular level.
In 2016, he founded SEMS Biofarma — a research-driven laboratory committed to turning that knowledge into real-world health solutions. That same year, he launched Relevant Nutrition to bring this science to American families and healthcare professionals — because he believed that access to truly high-quality immune support shouldn't depend on where you live.
What started in the lab grew into something much larger.
